Office Appointments

Refer a patient easily and conveniently by directly calling the office closest to you. Our goal is to schedule new patients within 2 weeks of referral. Urgent appointments are available at your request.  

Hospital Referrals

A Nephrology Associates physician is available 24/7 at all major Delaware hospitals, and at Union Hospital in Elkton, MD. Contact the office closest to you at any time to request a consult.

Dialysis

Nephrology Associates cares for over 1,300 dialysis patients. In-center hemodialysis including nocturnal dialysis is offered, as well as a robust home dialysis program. With a physician and mid-level provider assigned to each shift, your patient is assured of seeing the same providers each week. We encourage physician-to-physician transfers to ensure a smooth transition for all patients. Please call our office to discuss the needs of your patient.

Transplant Program

In 2006, Nephrology Associates and Christiana Care Health System realized a joint vision by opening the first kidney transplant program in Delaware. Dr. Stephanie Gilibert, the Transplant Medical Director, and Dr. Helen Chang-DeGuzman will evaluate your patient and provide immediate post-transplant care. http://www.christianacare.org/kidneytransplant

Interventional Nephrology Program – Vascular Access Centers

A healthy vascular access is a vital part of good quality hemodialysis. Nephrology Associates' two state-of-the-art vascular access centers are located in Newark and Milford. Our interventional team, led by Dr. Theodore Saad, former president of the American Society for Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology, provide optimum care to ensure your patients avoid unnecessary hospitalization and access malfunction.
