Judith Heap, MSN, FNP-BC earned her Bachelor in 1998 and her Masters degree in 2001, both from Widener University. She is currently a member of the Renal Physicians Association, the American College of Nurse Practitioners, the American Nurses Association/Delaware Nurses Association, the American Nephrology Nurses Association, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, and Alpha Chi National Honor Society. She joined Nephrology Associates in 2004 and see patients in the Dover and Smyrna Dialysis Units.

Deborah Peterman, MSN, RN, NP-C, earned her Bachelors degree from Wilmington College in 1994 and her Masters degree from the University of Delaware in 1998. She is a member of American Nephrology Nurses Association and the Delaware Nurses Association. She has been with Nephrology Associates since 1998 and currently sees patients in the Lewes office as well as the Dover Dialysis, Milford Dialysis, Rehoboth Dialysis and Georgetown Dialysis Units.
Barmeta Smith, MSN FNP
Barmeta Smith, MSN FNP earned her Masters degree in 1997 from Wilmington College and is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is currently a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, the Nursing Society of Wilmington College, the Delaware Nurses Association, the American Academy of Nursing Practitioners, and the American Nephrology Nurses Association. Barney was appointed to the Delaware Chronic Renal Disease Advisory Council in June 2004. She regularly lectures to new FMC staff about access assessment, cannulation, and monitoring. Barney joined Nephrology Associates in 1999 and sees patients in the Milford, Georgetown, and Seaford Dialysis Units. In addition, she will be seeing patients in the Dover office
