In-Center Hemodialysis

In-Center hemodialysis is performed by a staff of nurses and trained technicians, who will care for you and a number of other patients at the same time. In-center hemodialysis involves a dialysis machine, which pumps your blood through a filter to remove fluids and wastes. It can be done in two ways: during the day (three times a week for 3–5 hours each session) or at night for 8 hours while you sleep, usually three times a week.
